Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a copolymer of acrylamide and acrylate. This product has application properties such as flocculation, thickening, shearing, drag reduction and dispersibility. There are active anionic groups in the molecules of this product, which can change the interface state after being adsorbed on the interface, and form hydrogen bonds through affinity and adsorption with many substances. This results in a strong adsorption bridging effect. In water treatment, it can promote colloidal particles to gather into large flocs, accelerating the settlement of colloidal flocculent particles in suspension and facilitating solution clarification and filtration. 2. Anionic polyacrylamide is widely used in the water treatment fields of municipal sewage, industrial sewage, food processing, metallurgy and electroplating, coal washing and mineral processing industries; it is used as dispersant and flocculant in papermaking industry; it is also used as profile control and water shutoff agent, drag reducing agent and drilling fluid additive in oil and gas exploitation field.
